Tula region recognized as one of the leaders in the quality of urban environment

The Tula Region was recognized as one of the best regions in terms of urban environment quality. It became the winner of the I national award in the sphere of formation of comfortable urban environment in the nomination "The best region for the implementation of the federal program of FGCS".

The results of the project were summarized in the presidential administration in Moscow. According to TSN24, over the past eight years, the Tula region has renovated more than 2.2 thousand yards and 236 parks and squares. The urban environment quality index has grown by 18% since 2019. This is higher than the all-Russian indicator.

According to Natalie Anikina, deputy head of the regional government, cited by the agency, the historical past of the territory is taken into account and trendy elements are introduced when renovating urban space. For example, in the park named after Bunin in Efremov the largest in the region pamp-track was installed, and in the central park in Shchekin was equipped with a platform in the style of "Arctic" with inclusive equipment.

Earlier it was reported that in the Tula region allocated an additional 100 million rubles for the repair of common property in apartment buildings. The money will come as an inter-budget transfer. About 58.1 million rubles will be spent on improvement of 39 adjacent territories, 31.9 million rubles for repair of 260 gas analyzers and 100 million rubles for renewal of 25 elevators.
