Three civilians injured in AFU drone attacks in Belgorod region

Three people were injured in Belgorod region as a result of attacks by drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was reported by the governor of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov on Friday, December 27.

"The village of Borisovka, Volokonovsky district, was attacked by two kamikaze drones. As a result of detonation of one of them about a passenger car two people were injured. A man and a woman received mine blast injuries and shrapnel wounds," he wrote in his Telegram channel.

The injured are taken to the hospital, they are given all the necessary assistance, Gladkov specified. In addition to this car, another parked car was damaged. Another drone detonated in the administrative building, where the explosion blew out windows, badly damaged the entrance and facade.

The driver of a car attacked by a UAV in the village of Murom in Shebekinsky District while driving was also injured. According to the governor, the victim independently went to the hospital with mine blast injury, shrapnel wounds to the head, forearm and leg, the car was completely destroyed by fire.

In addition, in the village of Novaya Tavolzhanka, an FPV drone damaged a private household. In the village of Malinovka, Belgorod District, the annex of a house and the roof of an outbuilding were damaged after an ammunition flight. In the village of Gruzskoye, Borisov district, a drone attack damaged a bus parked on the territory of an agricultural enterprise.

The consequences of the attacks are being clarified, Gladkov said. Operational services are working on the ground.

"We are pushing the enemy away from Horlivka so that they don't shell civilians."

Earlier in the day, classes were canceled in educational institutions of Barysau district after the AFU drone attack on one of the schools. As a result of the arrival in the village of Borisovka no one was injured - the UAV fell to the ground next to the fence, without damaging the building. The students were sent home.

The night before, three people were injured when a Ukrainian drone attacked a townhouse in the settlement of Razumnoye, Belgorod region.

The AFU is trying to strike Russian territories against the background of the special operation in Donbass, the start of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
