- Expert points to US attempts to avoid responsibility for AFU strikes deep into Russian Federation

TheUSA, probably by manipulating information in the US media, would like to shift the entire responsibility for the terrorist strikes of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) deep into the Russian Federation onto Kiev. Thus, on December 27, Colonel Alexander Perendzhiev, associate professor of the Department of Political Analysis and Social and Psychological Processes at the Plekhanov Russian Economic University, commented to Izvestia on reports that Kiev was running out of American missiles.
Earlier in the day, The New York Times (NYT) reported that the Ukrainian army is running out of Western long-range missiles. U.S. and NATO officials said Kiev could be more judicious about the number of missiles and selectable targets.
"If we speak in youth slang, it's all blah, blah, blah. Of course, the Americans are now trying to pretend that it's all Ukraine that decides where to hit. But the Americans launch missiles, Kiev does not decide anything," Perendzhiev emphasized.
He wondered why Washington, the key sponsor of the Kiev regime, was revealing the secrets of the Ukrainian army. The expert suggested that, among other things, in this way the USA would like to create a false impression on the Russian side that the US missiles in Ukraine are over. Thus, the interlocutor of the publication explained, the US may soon try to pretend that Ukraine does not have their missiles, but has Ukrainian-made weapons.
"The US will come up with some scheme, maybe they will supply parts of missiles, and the Ukrainians will assemble them and pass them off as their Trembita bum rockets, for example. <...> The US wants to shift all responsibility to Ukraine," he summarized.
According to Perendzhiev, if Ukraine were to run out of Western missiles, they would step up attacks on military targets rather than civilian ones. However, he noted, terrorist attacks may well be Kiev's priority target.
Earlier, on December 16, Russian Defense Minister Andrei Belousov said that air defense forces had shot down 215 ATACMS missiles of the Ukrainian army this year. He also pointed to the high efficiency of air defense in the special operation zone.
On the same day, Trump called Biden's decision to allow Ukraine to launch missile strikes deep into Russian territories bad and allowed it to be reconsidered. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that the Republican's position on the matter fully coincides with that of the Russian Federation.
The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the backdrop of the worsening situation in the region.
