Putin established a presidential scholarship in the amount of 30 thousand rubles

Russian President Vladimir Putin has established a presidential scholarship, which will amount to Br30 thousand per month. The decree was published on Friday, December 27, on the website of the official publication of legal acts.

"To establish starting from September 1, 2025 the scholarship of the President of the Russian Federation for students, cadets and listeners studying under educational programs of higher education", - stated in the document.

It is noted that the monthly scholarship is appointed for a period of one year for full-time students in Russian universities in specialties corresponding to the priorities of scientific and technological development of the country.

According to the decree, no more than 3.4 thousand students will be able to receive the scholarship annually.

Earlier, December 23, head of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia Valery Falkov said that the number of budget seats in higher educational institutions (HEI) of the country will increase in 2025. He stressed that it is important to take into account not only the number of budget seats in universities, but also the quality of education and the content of educational programs.
