Flydubai canceled flights from Sochi and Minvod to Dubai until January 5


Flydubai airline has canceled flights to Dubai from Sochi and Mineralnye Vody from December 28 to January 5. This was reported in the press service of the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR) on December 27.
"Airline flydubai, referring to force majeure and threat to flight safety, temporarily canceled flights from December 28 to January 5 from Sochi and Mineralnye Vody to Dubai," - said in a message on the website of ATOR.
The situation affects more than 4 thousand passengers, 90% of whom are organized tourists, the Association of Tour Operators of Russia found out.
At the moment tour operators are trying to minimize the consequences for travelers, they are considering options of departure through other cities, as well as transferring tourists to flights of other airlines in Dubai. In Sochi it is "Ural Airlines", in Makhachkala - Air Arabia, reported in ATOR.
Earlier, on December 21, passengers of one of the flights from Moscow to Sharm el-Sheikh were in the waiting room of Sheremetyevo airport for more than a day because of the delay in departure. The AlMasria Universal Airline flight was scheduled to depart on Friday, December 20, at 5:50 Moscow time.
Prior to that, on December 6, a Sibir (S7) flight bound for Moscow was delayed in Ulan-Ude due to an airplane malfunction. The plane's departure was postponed for seven hours until the arrival of a reserve aircraft. One of the passengers told Izvestia that the probable reason for the delay was a plane malfunction.
