Almost 20 thousand Kaiyi cars are recalled in Russia

The company "Kai Rus" announced a recall of 19.8 thousand cars brand Kaiyi, the service company started on December 16. This was reported on Friday by the press service of Rosstandart.

Under the recall fell 1405 crossovers Kaiyi X7, 4799 parkettes X3 and 13.5 thousand sedans E5, sold in the period from 2023 to 2024.

The reason for the recall was the lack of a control unit in the cars of the emergency alert system. Dealerships will conduct a scheduled installation of the relevant block free of charge for car owners.

Kaiyi cars are produced at the plant "Avtotor" in the Kaliningrad region.

On December 23, AGR announced a recall of almost 56 thousand Volkswagen and Skoda cars in Russia. The service campaign started on December 15. The reason for the recall was given as possible destruction of the fuel line material under "extremely rare circumstances".
