The situation in agriculture in Kursk region is under control of the federal authorities, the agro-industrial complex (AIC) of the region is provided with point support on acute issues. This was reported on December 27 in the office of Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Patrushev.

It is noted that the Deputy Prime Minister met with the deputy governor of Kursk region Alexander Khinshtein. Together they discussed what measures should be taken to support the region in the difficult current situation.

"Dmitry Patrushev emphasized that the Kursk region is provided with point support on acute issues, the situation in agriculture is under control of the federal authorities", - indicated in the press service.

Earlier, on December 15, Hinshtein, assessing the situation in the region, said that the residents of the villages liberated by Russian troops in Kursk region lived in dire conditions for several months. He emphasized that people need support. Military personnel, rescuers, medics and volunteers will be involved in this process.

Prior to that, on December 7, the Acting Governor said that the entire Kursk region will be liberated from the AFU. After the clearing of the border territories, there will be a colossal amount of infrastructure reconstruction work to be done, Hinshtein emphasized. On December 6, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that the situation in Kursk region is close to being resolved, answering the question whether the appointment of Khinshtein to the post of deputy governor of the region would contribute to this.

Ukraine 's armed forces attacked Russian positions in the border areas of Kursk Region on August 6. The situation in the region was recognized as a state of emergency of a federal nature. The operation to destroy the militants continues.
