From January 2, 2025 in the capital slightly changed tariffs for travel in urban transport, reported in the Department of Transport of Moscow.

The price of one trip on tickets "Unified" for 30, 90 and 365 days has changed on average by 2 rubles. The most favorable way of payment remains biometrics - the cost of one trip is 59 rubles.

The cost of travel tickets for a month for schoolchildren and students for all types of transportation is 875 rubles and remains one of the most affordable compared to other major Russian cities.

With the "Troika" card fare payment, passengers can still transfer between metro, MCC, MCD and ground transportation routes free of charge for 90 minutes, and on some MCD routes for 120 minutes.

From January 2, it will not be possible to buy a "Unified" ticket for 60 trips - the share of trips on such a ticket, according to statistics, was only 1%. Instead, passengers will be able to use a more favorable ticket "Purse" - trips on it are not burned for 45 days, the cost itself is identical, and when changing from the subway, MCC, MCD to ground transport there is a 50% discount for the next trip.

Despite the change in cost, fares in the capital have remained below inflation since 2011. The accumulated gap between indexation and inflation is 25%.

The funds received from fare indexation will be used for further development of urban transport: modernization of infrastructure, ticketing system and passenger services.
