A court in Moscow fined TikTok 3 million rubles


The Tagansky District Court of Moscow has fined the TikTok video hosting company TikTok Pte. Ltd for 3 million rubles for violation of the order of restricting access to information. This was reported on December 27 by the press service of the Moscow courts of general jurisdiction.
The company was found guilty under part 2 of article 13.41 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation ("Violation of the order of restricting access to information, information resources, access to which is subject to restriction in accordance with the laws of the Russian Federation"), according to the press service in Telegram-channel.
Earlier, on November 5, Tagansky district court of Moscow fined TikTok Pte. Ltd. for 4 million rubles for failure to comply with the order of Roskomnadzor (article 19.7.10-4 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation).
Before that, on September 30, TikTok was fined Br4 million for failure to prohibit information related to calls for extremist activity. It is specified that then the company eventually removed 15 videos for this violation.
