A man's body was found in a lake in the Pskov region

Divers found the body of a man in the Polibinskoye lake in the Pskov region. This is reported by the Pskov newswire with reference to the investigative Department of the region.

Search and diving operations were carried out in Velikoluksky district. The rescuers managed to find the body of a man born in 1970. The circumstances of his death are being established.

Since the beginning of 2024 in the Pskov region 14 people have died on water bodies, including one child. Mostly the cause of accidents is bathing in an inappropriate place.

In Primorsky Krai, an SUV fell through the ice of the Smerinka River near the village of Kiparisovo. A 59-year-old man was unable to get out of the cabin and drowned.
