In Russia, the highest-paid industry for 2024 is the construction sector

The highest salary offers in the past year could be counted on by candidates employed in the construction and repair sector. On average, employers offered new employees in this segment about 107,807 rubles per month for full-time work. This is stated in the results of the study of experts of the platform "Avito Work", which were familiarized "Izvestia" on December 30.

Compared to 2023 employers began to look for glaziers (+189% of vacancies for the year), facade workers (+149%) and roofers (+144%).

In second place was the sphere of real estate sales and management, where the average offered salary for new employees amounted to 100,393 rubles per month. Sales managers (+35% of vacancies for the year) and realtors (+14%) are more often required in the industry.

The third line is occupied by the logistics, delivery and trucking industry, where employers offered an average of 98,616 rubles per month on the condition of full-time employment. Over the past year, the industry has increased demand for truck drivers (+20%) and logisticians (+14%) the most.

"The construction and repair sector remains one of the highest-paying industries in the Russian labor market in 2024, which is due to the development of construction projects and the implementation of a number of infrastructure projects. Along with it, the sphere of real estate sales and management demonstrates positive dynamics of growth of salary offers. It is important for employees of this industry to quickly adapt to changes in the economy: today, successful realtors and sales managers must not only have in-depth knowledge of the market, but also skills in working with digital platforms and analytical tools," said Kirill Pshenychnykh, Director of the Office Occupations category at Avito Rabota.

In addition, this year the largest increase in the proposed income level compared to 2023 was observed in the event management industry, where the average proposed salaries for new employees increased by 45% over the year, reaching 60,459 rubles per month. Next comes the field of customer service, where salary offers for job seekers for the year increased by 42% and amounted to 72,534 rubles per month, as well as the production of industrial equipment and machine tools - the increase in average salary offers amounted to 37% year on year, and candidates were offered about 97,045 rubles monthly.

Earlier, December 24, it was reported that in Russia 29% of respondents named the main successful event over the past year increase in salary. This is stated in the results of a survey of analysts of the platform hh.ru. In second place among the successes was a new job (28%). Every fourth respondent (25%) managed to go on vacation and have a good rest.
