Russian military destroyed two armored vehicles of Ukrainian troops in the DNR

The Russian armed forces have destroyed two armored combat vehicles of the Ukrainian military in the Donetsk People's Republic (DNR). The corresponding footage was made available to Izvestiya on December 27.

In particular, an assault team of the 24th separate mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on a MaxxPro combat vehicle was destroyed near the Chasov Yar settlement as a result of a collision with a mine and a subsequent FPV drone strike.

On a stretch of road near Kurakhovo, the 46th Brigade's assault troops, who were in a Roshel Senator TBM that hit a mine, were also destroyed.

Earlier in the day, the Russian Defense Ministry showed footage of the destruction of an AFU tank in Kharkiv region. The military equipment was discovered in the area of the forest belt during reconnaissance. The grouping of Russian troops "North" destroyed the tank with the help of FPV drone.

The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which was announced on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was made against the backdrop of the worsening situation in the region.
