Russian Defense Ministry publishes footage of FPV drone destroying AFU tank near Kharkiv

A group of Russian troops "North" has destroyed a tank of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in Kharkiv Region using an FPV drone. The Russian Defense Ministry published objective control footage of the moment of liquidation of the Ukrainian equipment on December 27.

The enemy tank was detected during reconnaissance activities in the region. Servicemen detected the movement and firing of the AFU military vehicle in the area of the forest belt.

"After analyzing the intelligence received, a decision was made to fire on the enemy tank. As a result of a direct hit by an FPV drone, the tank of the AFU fighters was destroyed," the agency said.

"A sniper's main weapon is not the rifle, but the fear he sows."

Before that, on December 24, the grouping of troops "North" also destroyed a pickup truck with the AFU manpower in Sumy region with the help of an FPV drone. A reconnaissance unit detected a pickup truck with militants at night using an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). The target was successfully eliminated, a direct hit on the enemies was recorded.

The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which was announced by the Russian Federation on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the backdrop of the aggravated situation in the region.
