A freight train fatally ran over a man in Chelyabinsk

The Transport Prosecutor's Office is conducting an inspection into the death of a man on a railroad in Chelyabinsk. The victim was hit by a freight train.

The incident occurred in the evening of December 25 at the station "Power Station". The driver took the necessary measures, but the collision with the man could not be avoided, writes IA "Ura.ru". From the injuries received, the victim died on the spot.

In the Prosecutor's office reminded that to cross the railroad tracks should be in authorized places.

In Krasnoyarsk region in early December, a freight train killed a man who tried to cross the tracks in the wrong place. According to law enforcement authorities, the victim was in a drunken state.
