The autonomous non-profit organization (ANO) Dialog has filed a lawsuit against the US Department of Justice in the District Court of Pennsylvania for the FBI's false accusations against the company and dissemination of misinformation, as well as in connection with the illegitimate seizure of the organization's domain. This was reported to TASS on December 27 in the public relations department of ANO "Dialogue".

The lawsuit from the organization was filed by ANO Dialogue's lawyers from the Philadelphia law firm Pietragallo Gordon Alfano Bosick & Raspanti, LLP, which specializes in disputes with government agencies.

Under the rules of the lawsuit, the defendants must file their first formal response to the lawsuit within the next 15 days. The parties will then exchange documents, after which the Pennsylvania court will set a hearing date for the parties to argue the case.

"With this lawsuit, we are challenging the evidentiary basis, which earlier the same American court recognized as sufficient for the issuance of the initial order of confiscation in September of the domains associated with Dialog," said Dialog CEO Vladimir Tabak.

He also added that the organization is listed in only three FBI applications, which consist of 158 items. Tabak emphasized that the statements do not contain any evidence of document forgery or a way to launder money, as well as the creation of fake news.

Earlier, on October 31, ANO Dialogue created the International Association for Factchecking. The reason for the creation of the project against fakes is the fabricated FBI investigation, which accused Russia of spreading lies. In fact, the Bureau of Investigation is simply trying to block the channels of dissemination of views contrary to the American point of view, according to Dialog. It is noted that the organization plans to present a multi-lingual platform with the possibility of verifying information.
