The losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) in Kursk Region amounted to more than 600 servicemen over the day. This was reported by the Russian Defense Ministry on December 27.

"Over the day the losses of the AFU [in Kursk region] amounted to more than 600 servicemen, four tanks, two infantry fighting vehicles, including one US-made Bradley BMP, four armored personnel carriers, 24 armored fighting vehicles, 20 vehicles, seven artillery pieces, including 155-millimeter Bogdana SAU and six mortars were destroyed," the defense ministry said in a statement.

The units of the grouping of troops "North" hit the formations of heavy mechanized, five mechanized, three airborne assault brigades, a brigade of marines and four brigades of territorial defense of the AFU.

It is noted that in total during the fighting in the Kursk direction, the enemy lost more than 44,570 soldiers.

"The operation to destroy the formations of the AFU continues", - added in the Defense Ministry.
