New expert councils will be created in Russia to implement the strategy of the state cultural policy until 2030. This was announced by Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation Olga Lyubimova in an interview with Izvestia on December 27.

"In addition to clarifying the powers and functions of the existing expert councils in various areas of cultural activities and services, new ones are to be formed, supplementing them with representatives of creative unions and organizations actively involved in the implementation of state cultural policy," she said.

Within the framework of the strategy it is planned to form a state order for the creation of works of art, including literature and national films, information materials, printed products and services of cultural institutions.

"As part of the Ministry of Culture of Russia will expand support for the production of national films aimed at strengthening spiritual and moral values, created by debutants - graduates of specialized universities, trained as directors, young directors under the age of 35, as well as films for children and youth, including animation," the minister emphasized.

According to Lyubimova, as the strategy is implemented, the list of state priorities may expand and additional programs will appear.
