Court upholds arrest of Kursk Region Development Corporation CEO Lukin

The Kursk Regional Court has recognized as lawful the ruling on the detention of Vladimir Lukin, General Director of the Kursk Region Development Corporation JSC, who is suspected of abuse of power in the construction of defense facilities Vladimir Lukin, suspected of abuse of power in the construction of defense facilities. This was reported in the press service of the judicial system of the region on December 27.

It is specified that Lukin was placed in custody for two months.

Lukin on suspicion of abuse of power in the construction of defense facilities was detained earlier, on December 20. A criminal case was opened against him. According to the source, the actions of the Director General, tentatively, led to the embezzlement of budget funds in the amount of more than 173 million rubles.
