Four more ice crossings opened in Khabarovsk Krai


Four ice crossings have started working in Khabarovsk Krai. Thus, nine winter roads are now functioning in the region.
Thus, in Khabarovsk Krai, a 480-meter-long technological passage across the Amur River was opened. It is necessary for the company's transportation to the place of diving operations. Unauthorized persons and vehicles are not allowed access to the crossing.
In Khabarovsk district the ice crossing was opened 27 km upstream of Novokurovka village. It is part of the winter road to the access to the village of Pobeda across the Kur River. The load capacity is 10 tons and the length is 410 meters.
Another crossing as part of the same winter road is equipped across the Tunguska River 2.5 km from Novokurovka. Its length is 560 meters, and its carrying capacity is not more than 10 tons.
In the Polina Osipenko district, the first crossing of the season was opened across the Amgun River near the mouth of Talakan Creek. It is located 158 km from the village of Kherpuchi. Its length is 290 meters and its carrying capacity is 60 tons.
IA AmurMedia with reference to the regional Ministry of Emergency Situations specifies that now in Khabarovsk Krai there are two crossings in Ayano-Maiya district, one in Verkhnebureinsky district and one in Polina Osipenko district, two in Okhotsk district, one in Khabarovsk and two in Khabarovsk district. In total, 33 crossings have been applied for opening this winter season.
Earlier, on December 19, it was reported that in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug the opening of winter roads on the Ob and Irtysh was postponed to a later date. The reason was the warm weather, because of which the ice did not grow thick enough. The first winter road in the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug was opened on December 1 from the highway Khanty-Mansiysk - Talinka to Belogorye. The road was immediately allowed for vehicles weighing up to 30 tons.
