A mother took her unclothed child out into the cold and almost killed him in EAO

In Birobidzhan, a woman in a state of alcoholic intoxication almost killed her one-year-old child when she took him out in the cold unclothed. Both the mother and her son were saved by a Rosgvardiya officer who came to the rescue.

As EAOMedia news agency reports with reference to the Department of the Rosgvardia in EAO, the officer, being at home, heard a loud child crying outside the window. To clarify the situation, he ran out into the yard. On the side of the road, he saw a woman with a baby in her arms. The one-year-old baby was dressed inappropriately for the weather, without a hat. He was barely breathing from the cold.

The man took the woman with the child in his arms to a warm room, took off his jacket and covered the boy. After that he called an ambulance and the police. The victims were timely taken to the hospital and provided with medical care.

In late November, it was reported that in Taganrog police detained a mother suspected of murder and attempted murder of her twin six-month-old children. According to law enforcement agencies, the woman, being in a state of alcoholic intoxication, caused bodily injuries to her two sons. She then put the children in carrier bags and left them in one of the stores in the city. Emergency physicians stated the death of one child. The second boy was hospitalized.
