- The wreckage of the airplane that fell in Aktau was scattered at a distance of about 200 meters

Debris from the nose and tail of the fuselage of the Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) plane that crashed in Kazakhstan's Aktau has scattered about 200 meters away from each other. Video of the situation at the crash site on December 27 is published by Izvestia.
The area where the wreckage is scattered is cordoned off. The severely burned nose part is located where, apparently, the airplane hit the ground, and then it was dragged along the ground. The landing gear is torn off and lying off to the side. The tail is upside down and there is an open door through which the surviving passengers were getting out, having to jump from a height.
The footage shows the substation, from which the first aid came to the victims of the plane crash. Many survivors were saved thanks to its employees. The distance from the substation to the crash site is about a kilometer.
Izvestia correspondent Ivan Litomin said that about 300 people are working at the site of the tragedy, so far among them only Kazakh specialists. However, they will soon be joined by representatives of Brazil, which manufactured the fallen Embraer, Azerbaijan and Russia. The commission will find out what exactly happened to the airplane.
The passenger plane of AZAL Airlines, which was on the route Baku - Grozny, crashed near the Kazakh city of Aktau on December 25. After the crash the plane caught fire. Preliminary, the cause of the fall of the airplane could be a collision with a flock of birds. After the crash, a criminal case was opened. AZAL suspended flights from Baku to Grozny and Makhachkala until the investigation is completed.
According to the AZAL list, 62 passengers and five crew members were on board, 38 people died. In addition, seven Russians were killed in the air crash , while nine survived. "Gazeta.Ru" reports that they were hospitalized. Later, a special airplane of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation delivered the Russians to Moscow.
Russian Health Minister Mikhail Murashko said on December 26 that two Russian citizens injured in the crash were in extremely serious condition, six - in a state of moderate severity, and one patient is light. At the same time, four victims are connected to artificial lung ventilation (ALV) machines. The Mangistau Regional Hospital in Aktau, in turn, said that they continue to provide assistance to four injured in intensive care, and two more - in traumatology.
