Khabarovsk man faces 7 years in prison for felling a forest

In Khabarovsk Krai, during the operational and preventive measures "Les-2024", a 59-year-old resident of Nanai District was detained for clearing the road to the production site from the forest with a bulldozer. He turned out to be the foreman of the logging site, but he did not have any authorization documents for such work.
It turned out that the detainee bulldozed 79 trees of valuable species, including spruce, birch, alder, cedar, white fir, aspen, maple, Manchurian ash.
