Kazakhstan's Qazaq Air airline on Friday, December 27, announced the suspension of flights from Astana to Yekaterinburg until January 27, 2025.

"Qazaq AIR is forced to temporarily suspend flights on the route Astana - Yekaterinburg from December 28 this year to January 27, 2025," - stated in the message of the company on Facebook (part of Meta, recognized as an extremist organization and banned in Russia).

It is noted that the decision was made to ensure the safety of passengers and crews and is based on an ongoing assessment of flight risks.

Passengers of canceled flights the airline will refund money or offer an exchange for other routes, noted "Gazeta.Ru".

The day before it was reported that the Israeli airline El Al decided to suspend flights to Moscow. It was specified that next week the company plans to assess the situation and make a decision on the resumption of flights.
