AZAL plane flying to Minvody returned to Baku airport


The airplane of Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL), heading to Mineralnye Vody, returned to Baku airport. This was reported by Report agency on December 27 with reference to the press service of the company.
According to the air carrier, the commander of the airliner decided to turn around after receiving a message about the closure of airspace over Makhachkala. The plane landed at Baku airport at 10:13 (09:13 Moscow time).
AZAL said the company will soon provide detailed information on flights to Russia.
Earlier, on December 11, a plane of Russian airline UTair, heading from Moscow to Dubai, returned to Vnukovo airport. The aircraft commander decided to return to the departure airfield in the capital due to engine problems. The landing occurred with the engine turned off.
Before that, on October 30, it was reported that the plane flying from Moscow to Turkish Antalya returned to Sheremetyevo airport due to a malfunction. It is known that the plane belonged to Aeroflot.
