Sobyanin spoke about fire safety in Moscow

Moscow is one of the leaders in fire safety among the subjects of the Russian Federation and megacities of the world, Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said.
"It takes less than seven minutes for the capital's rescuers and firefighters to arrive at the scene of a call anywhere in the city," he wrote in his Telegram.
Sobyanin reminded that the capital has emergency aviation, sanitary helicopters are constantly on duty at six medical centers.
"We continue to develop the service - in the anniversary year we opened two new fire and rescue squads in ZAO and TINAO. We have updated the equipment: in the Moscow Aviation Center appeared another fire helicopter, and for rescuers on the water purchased domestic aeroboats, developing speed up to 100 km / h", - said the mayor.
In November, Sobyanin said that since the beginning of the year pilots of sanitary helicopters of the Moscow Aviation Center (MAC) evacuated 308 injured and somatic patients to city hospitals. In turn, fire aviation participated in the elimination of 11 major fires.
"To successfully perform their work, specialists of the aviation center constantly improve their qualifications," the mayor noted. If earlier employees had to travel to other cities, now it is possible to study without taking time off from the main work - in 2022 the IAC opened its own training center, the mayor said. According to him, the main purpose of training is "training of universal personnel, which confidently act in any conditions".
In July, Sobyanin told that the fire and rescue garrison of Moscow includes about 18 thousand specialists. In 2018, the main training center in Aparinky was completely reconstructed - it was equipped with new multifunctional simulators. The site is used for practicing actions, including in case of road accidents, gas or chemical accidents.
