The forum "Industry of New Times" was held in Moscow

On December 25, the Lomonosov cluster of the Lomonosov Moscow State University Innovation Science and Technology Center "Vorobyovy Gory" hosted the interstate forum "Industry of the New Time", which attracted more than a thousand companies and 70 speakers. The event became a single platform for dialog between government and business, discussion of national projects and high-tech products in the field of artificial intelligence for industry. The Forum was attended by 2,000 guests, and another 18,000 followed the online broadcast of the event.

The Forum was organized by the Moscow Government, the Committee on Regulations and Parliamentary Activities of the Federation Council and the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation. The general partners were the Russian EdTech company 1T and the Belarusian IT company X-Labs inc. Both companies specialize in software development based on artificial intelligence and create global technological trends.

The forum was held in five thematic areas:

● Interaction between government and industry

Digital innovations in industry

● Technologies in industry

● Human Resources in Industry

● Media in industry.

The forum participants emphasized that effective cooperation between the state and industry is the key to stable and innovative development of the economy. They considered the mechanisms of mutual support and aspects of the Industrial Revolution 4.0, which has already arrived today:

- The development of new age industry plays a key role in shaping economic sustainability and competitiveness in the international arena. We must join forces with sister nations to develop end-to-end digital technologies and ensure sustainable industrial growth that will lead to an improved quality of life for all citizens. The development of new-age industry is our common challenge and an opportunity to achieve significant results," said Dmitry Volvach, Deputy Minister of Economic Development of Russia, opening the forum.

In the conditions of transformation, it is necessary to follow trends and use modern technologies: AI, IoT, Big Data, cloud solutions and digital financial assets, according to the speakers and experts of the forum.

- We are reaching a new level by creating Russian-Belarusian alliances in the field of digital transformation of industry, network development of new-age industry as a guarantor of technological leadership of the participants and the basis for global high-tech projects based on fundamental scientific research," emphasized Nadezhda Surova, Director of the Digital Economy Competence Center.

Pavel Shevtsov, Deputy Head of Rossotrudnichestvo, noted that today it is very important to discuss the industry of the new time, because the world is changing very quickly. The Forum helps to find new solutions and new ways for cooperation between Russia and Belarus.

The exposition area of 2000 square meters accommodated modern solutions in the high-tech spheres of AI and VR. Belarusian IT company X-Labs inc. brought to Moscow more than 30 of its own and partner projects that can be applied in various spheres - from medicine and sports to creativity, interior design, as well as for the creation of urban smart infrastructure of the future.

A separate large block of the forum was "Personnel in Industry". Experts discussed strategies for training employees who will be able to meet the challenges of modern technologies. The participants of the event considered the best training practices and interaction between business, government and educational institutions and agreed to create new joint educational programs.

An important element was the consideration of digital financial assets, the digital Russian and Belarusian rubles, as well as new financial technologies for investing in industry, which were considered by VEB RF, experts from the Central Bank of the Russian Federation, and industry companies.

In addition, the forum paid much attention to the role of new media in shaping public opinion and promoting industry achievements. Experts shared the best practices of covering industrial events, PR-campaigns, use of neural networks and social media.

- Our President Vladimir Putin emphasized during the Council on Strategic Development and National Projects that it is necessary to inform citizens about national projects in a more accessible way, and we are glad to see such involvement of entrepreneurs from Russia and Belarus in the development of industry and technology in the vector of implementation of new national projects. That is why our forum is becoming an annual event," concluded Evgeny Nezhdanov, President of 1T Consortium.
