The Investigative Committee has opened more than 6,000 criminal cases on crimes committed by the Kiev regime since 2014. This was reported by the agency on December 27.

"Over the past period, 6,025 cases were initiated against representatives of the Ukrainian leadership, members of radical nationalist associations, as well as representatives of the Ukrainian security services and AFU servicemen," - stated in the Telegram-channel of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation.

In addition, the work on bringing foreign mercenaries to criminal responsibility continues.

Also, according to the agency, the Investigative Committee has indicted the former head of the Ukrainian presidential administration, Ihor Rainin and Andriy Bohdan, for crimes in Donbas. As a result of their actions, militants carried out shelling of populated areas in the region. He specified that the relevant materials have been handed over to the states, which "should know the truth about what is happening."

Before that, on 22 August, he also said that Moscow was ready to exert pressure on the Kiev authorities in order for them to comply with the norms of international humanitarian law.
