About 320 enterprises in Moscow are increasing production of products for the New Year's table on the eve of the holidays. This was reported on December 26 by Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of the capital for Transport and Industry.

According to him, Moscow is one of the largest centers of food industry in Russia, and financial and non-financial support measures allow the capital's food producers to maintain advanced positions in the competitive market, increase production, expand the range of products and produce goods known throughout the world, reports the agency of city news "Moscow".

The head of the capital's Department of Investment and Industrial Policy Anatoly Garbuzov said that about 65 thousand people work in the food industry, the website kp.ru notes.

For New Year's holidays, companies have launched the production of festive products. In particular, we are talking about chocolate in the form of Christmas tree toys, duck-flavored chips in lingonberry sauce, berry mixes and other desserts, RT writes.

On the same day, endocrinologist Anna Kuznetsova advised to wash down New Year's salads with clean water. According to her, sweet carbonated drinks are not the best choice, as they do not combine well with the traditional dishes of the New Year's table and can cause increased gas formation, 360.ru notes. However, mulled wine with warming spices can support digestion. Herbal teas, especially with mint, chamomile or fennel, will also help digest heavy food.

On December 24, the Packet survey from X5 showed that 60% of Russians consider New Year's Eve cooking a family tradition. In their opinion, home-cooked meals taste better, and they also point out the importance of following family traditions. Those who order food with delivery do it for convenience and to save time (68%) or for the sake of new taste impressions (60%), reports NSN.
