The AFU shelled an ambulance brigade in Kherson region

Ukrainian Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) militants have shelled an ambulance brigade in Kherson Region. This was reported by the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation on December 27.

"The night before, an ambulance brigade finished work on a call in the town of Golaya Prystan in the Kherson region and was moving back when it was attacked by drones of Ukrainian nationalists," the ministry said in a statement published in its Telegram channel.

The ambulance was caught by one of the dropped shells. At the same time, the workers were not seriously injured.

"Ukrainian Nazis regularly and purposefully attack medics providing assistance to adults and children, hospitals, outpatient clinics, sanitary transport, homes of peaceful residents of the new Russian regions," the Health Ministry added.

It also expressed confidence that the Kiev regime would be held accountable for their criminal acts.

Earlier, on December 22, three people were injured as a result of the AFU shelling of the village of Cairo in Kherson region. Among the injured are two adults and one child. They were hospitalized with shrapnel wounds.

Before that, on December 18, it was reported that in Novaya Kakhovka in the Kherson region a civilian was killed after the shelling of the territory of the Central market by Ukrainian militants.

The Ukrainian armed forces are shelling the territories of the Donetsk and Luhansk people's republics, as well as Zaporizhzhya and Kherson regions on a daily basis against the background of the special operation to protect Donbas, the start of which Russia announced on February 24, 2022.
