Temporary flight restrictions imposed at Kazan airport

Temporary restrictions have been imposed on the operation of Kazan airport. This was reported by spokesman for the Federal Air Transport Agency (FAA, Rosaviatsia) Artem Korenyako on December 27.

"To ensure the safety of civil aircraft (CA) flights, temporary restrictions from 6:00 Moscow time are imposed on the operation of Kazan airport. The air harbor temporarily does not accept and does not send flights," he wrote in his Telegram channel.

He also stated that the priority of air crews, air traffic controllers and airport services is to take all necessary measures to ensure flight safety.

Also restrictions were introduced on the same day in the airports of Astrakhan and Volgograd. At the moment, all restrictions in both airports have been lifted, work is carried out in normal mode.

On the same day from 5:00 Moscow time restrictions on flights were introduced at Sochi airport in order to ensure the safety of civil aircraft flights.
