Captured AFU soldier advised fellow soldiers to abandon their positions and surrender

A soldier of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), Alexander Tsveli, who surrendered in the Kursk region on December 27, called on fellow soldiers to leave their positions and surrender to the Russian Armed Forces (AF) fighters to save their lives.
"Well, if they are not yet in combat positions, let them not go there if they want to live. And if they are already in positions, if there is an opportunity, let them leave. Minimally - let them surrender, then they have a chance to stay alive," - quotes the serviceman "RIA Novosti".
It is noted that the man surrendered in late November during an attempt of his unit to get out of the operational encirclement in the border area of Kursk region.
To all this, speaking about the losses in his group, he noted that a day later someone was wounded.
Earlier, on December 19, the AFU prisoner Grigory Shinkarev said that the command of the Ukrainian army treats ordinary soldiers cruelly and beats them with sticks, for example, for the wrong grip of a machine gun, and for attempts to escape the military were driven to the positions without equipment and shot.
Before that, on December 16, captured soldier Artur Plombirus said that the AFU command gave orders to shoot civilians and Russian soldiers in Kursk region.
The AFU attacked Russian positions in the border areas of Kursk Region on August 6. The situation in the region was recognized as a federal emergency. The liquidation of the Ukrainian militants who invaded the Russian territory is underway.
The special operation to protect Donbass, the beginning of which was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the background of the aggravated situation in the region.
