The Defense Ministry reported 13 destroyed Ukrainian UAVs over Russian regions


Air defense means (Air Defense Forces) have intercepted and destroyed 13 Ukrainian drones over Russian regions, the Russian Defense Ministry reported on December 27.
"During the past night, 13 Ukrainian drones were destroyed by on-duty air defense means: five UAVs were shot down over the territory of the Bryansk region, three over the territory of the Kursk region, two each over the territories of the Belgorod and Tula regions and one over the territory of the Astrakhan region," the ministry's Telegram channel said.
Also on December 27, Governor Bogomaz said that one UAV was destroyed in the sky over the Bryansk region. There were no casualties or damage. Subsequently, two more drones were shot down.
At the same time, Governor Dmitry Milyaev said that air defense means destroyed Ukrainian UAVs in the skies over the Tula region. There were no casualties or damage.
The night before, Belgorod Region Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov reported that an eight-year-old child and his mother were injured in a drone attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) on a townhouse in the village of Razumnoye. As a result of the strike on the house, the roof caught fire. Emergencies Ministry employees liquidated the fire. Subsequently, the number of injured increased to three.
Ukrainian militants are trying to strike Russian territories against the background of the special operation in Donbass, the beginning of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
