Air defense means (Air Defense Forces) have destroyed a Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) in the skies above the Tula region, Governor Dmitry Milyaev reported on December 27.

"Tonight on the territory of Suvorovsky district air defense units of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation neutralized the UAV of the AFU," the head of the region wrote in his Telegram channel.

According to preliminary information, there are no casualties or damage, emergency services are working on the site.

Also on the night of December 27, Governor Alexander Bogomaz reported that one UAV was destroyed in the sky above the Bryansk region. There were no casualties or damage.

The night before, Belgorod Region Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov reported that a drone attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on a townhouse in the village of Razumnoye injured an eight-year-old child and his mother. As a result of the strike on the house, the roof caught fire. Emergencies Ministry employees liquidated the fire. Subsequently, the number of injured increased to three.

Ukrainian militants are trying to strike Russian territories against the background of the special operation in Donbass, the beginning of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
