Ka-52 crew hit a stronghold and AFU personnel in the Kursk Region


An army aviation crew on a Ka-52 helicopter has hit personnel and a stronghold of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the border area of Kursk Region with air missiles. This was reported by the Russian Defense Ministry on December 27.
In the course of the combat mission to support units of the "North" group, the pilots carried out missile launches according to the coordinates of the aviation spotter and hit the stronghold and the AFU's manpower.
After the strike, the crews performed anti-missile maneuvering. The advanced aviation spotter confirmed the destruction of all AFU targets.
Earlier, on December 26, the Russian Defense Ministry published footage of the performance of combat work of a calculation of the Tor-M2 anti-aircraft missile system (SAM) of the Russian grouping of troops "North", which hit the drones of the AFU in the border area of the Kursk region.
The AFU attacked Russian positions in the border areas of Kursk Region on August 6. The situation in the region was recognized as a state of emergency of federal character. The liquidation of the Ukrainian militants who invaded the Russian territory is underway.
The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which was announced by the Russian President on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the background of the worsening situation in the region.
