Defense Ministry publishes footage of attack aircraft defending Ugledar residents from the AFU

On 27 December, the Russian Defense Ministry published footage of attack aircraft of the Vostok group of troops defending the residents of Ugledar from the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU).

The storm troopers of the group of troops "Vostok" are successfully pushing Ukrainian militants as far away from the settlement as possible, Ukrainian positions are now concentrated in the forest belts near Ugledar.

The mopping-up is carried out with the help of drones, directly by personnel and artillery.

"The AFU forces do not have time to entrench themselves, as the contact line has already moved much further," commented a platoon commander with the call sign Boyara.

The Russian army storm troopers continue to ensure the security of the city, repelling attempts by the AFU to break through again into the abandoned territory.

"We, gritting our teeth, are going forward, only forward. We are not going to retreat back," said a storm trooper with the call sign Mladenets.

Earlier, on October 29, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that despite the considerable distance the AFU formations have been pushed back from Ugledar, the Ukrainian military continues to carry out remote mining of roads and access roads, dropping anti-tank mines from industrial drones at night.

The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was made against the backdrop of the worsening situation in the region.
