The Houthis have threatened a swift response to Israel's bombing of Yemen

Yemen's Houthis have threatened a swift response to Israel's bombardment of Yemen. The politburo said in a statement issued by the Houthi-owned Al Masirah TV channel in its Telegram feed on December 26.
"We affirm the Armed Forces' readiness to respond quickly to aggression, answering escalation to escalation, without hesitation or retreat," the Yemeni Ansar Allah (Houthis) movement's armed forces spokesperson informed.
Earlier in the day, the Israeli Air Force reported a massive series of strikes on an airbase and airport in northern Sanaa. The port of Hodeidah in the west of the country was also attacked.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Israel is determined to fight the "hand of Iran" in Yemen. According to Netanyahu, some time ago the Israeli Air Force struck Houthi targets in Yemen on the coast and in Sanaa.
The day before, Yemeni Houthis attacked Tel Aviv and Ashkelon with drones. Afterward, Netanyahu promised them the fate of the radical Palestinian Hamas movement, the Lebanese Shiite Hezbollah movement and Syria.
The situation in the Middle East escalated on the morning of October 7, 2023, when the Palestinian radical Hamas movement subjected Israel to a massive rocket attack from the Gaza Strip. On the same day, Israel began retaliatory strikes.
