Gladkov reported an increased number of casualties after a UAV attack on the Belgorod region

As a result of an attack by an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) on a townhouse in the Razumnoye settlement of Belgorod Region, the number of injured has risen to three, Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said on December 26.

"A woman with a bruised arm applied for medical help. The ambulance crew takes the victim to the city hospital No. 2 of Belgorod," - wrote the head of the region in Telegram-channel.

Gladkov also reported that the damage was sustained by a neighboring townhouse, in which the windows were broken and the door was damaged as a result of the attempted UAV attack. In addition, a passenger car was hit by shrapnel.

Operational services continue to work, information about the consequences of the incident is being clarified.

Shortly before that, Governor Gladkov reported that as a result of a drone attack of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on a townhouse in the settlement of Razumnoye suffered an eight-year-old child and his mother. As a result of the strike on the house, the roof caught fire. Emergencies Ministry employees liquidated the fire.

Ukrainian militants are trying to strike Russian territories against the background of the special operation in Donbass, the beginning of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
