Up to 244 million rubles will be allocated for the repair of Lipetsk school No. 4

Lipetsk has announced the search for a contractor to overhaul the building of School No. 4, located on Parkovaya Street. This was reported on December 26 by GOROD48 with reference to the construction and education department of the city.

The maximum cost of the contract with the contractor will amount to 244.32 million rubles. This is almost 100 million rubles more than the cost of renovation of the previous school, № 5, on Semashko Street, for the repair of which Lipetsk will pay about 139 million rubles.

As noted in the city Department of Education, the cost is due to the complexity of the upcoming work. Since the building was built in 1936 and it is more than 80 years old, some of the structural elements, including the flooring, are plastered wood and shingles. They are to be replaced with brick and reinforced concrete.

It is planned to start the reconstruction works in March 2025, and to complete them by the end of the same year.
