Trump adviser says plans to expel migrants with U.S.-born children

The administration of US President-elect Donald Trump will expel illegal migrants from the country, even if they have children born on American territory. This was stated on December 26 by the future curator of security at the US borders, Thomas Homan.
"Here's the problem. You knew you were in the country illegally and you decided to have a child. So you're the one who put your family in this position," he said in an interview with The Washington Post.
Homan said authorities will give parents the option of leaving alone or with their child.
Also, the United States will again begin placing illegal migrant families with children in special detention centers to be built. At the same time, it is necessary to show Americans that the country can take measures that are not inhumane, Homan emphasized.
Earlier in the day, The Hill suggested that it would be difficult for Trump to fulfill his plans to expel illegal migrants. According to the journalists' assessment, the Republican does not have a labor force that would match his rhetoric, and it would also require an astronomical increase in the budget.
Prior to that, on December 22, Trump promised to close the US border to illegals on his first day in office and announced the largest deportation in the country's history. CNN reported at the time that Trump's team was studying ways to abolish birthright citizenship in the United States.
