Pushilin reported two casualties after AFU strikes on DNR population centers


Two civilians were injured in settlements of the Donetsk People's Republic (DNR) after new strikes by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was reported by the head of the DNR, Denis Pushilin, on December 26.
One of the injured is a resident of Nikitovsky district of Gorlovka. A man born in 1953 was injured of medium severity after the enemy used barrel artillery. Another man, born in 1993, was wounded in the settlement of Panteleymonovka of Yasinovatsk municipal district as a result of dropping an explosive object from a drone.
"All the injured are provided with the necessary medical care. Two residential buildings, one civil infrastructure facility (power line) in the Nikitovka district of Horlivka, three residential buildings and a school in Panteleymonovka of the Yasinovatsk municipal district were damaged," Pushilin said in his Telegram channel.
According to the head of the region, the Ukrainian side carried out more than 10 armed attacks in total. In the course of them used barrel artillery of 155 mm caliber, as well as an attack drone.
Earlier, on December 25, the AFU shelled the center of Horlivka with cluster shells. The shelling was recorded at 14:55 in the central district of the city with three cluster shells of 155 mm caliber. On the same day, it was reported that the AFU shelled the DNR territories 15 times in the Gorlovka direction over the past 24 hours. During the 15 armed attacks, 48 units of various ammunition were fired.
On December 20, Pushilin said that five civilians were injured as a result of the AFU attacks on the republic.
Ukrainian militants have been shelling Russian territories, especially its new regions, on a daily basis amid the special operation to defend Donbas, which the Russian Federation announced the start of on February 24, 2022.
