A new MRI machine was installed in Apatity-Kirovsky CRB

A new magnetic resonance tomograph (MRI) has been installed in the Apatity-Kirov central district hospital in the Murmansk region. This is reported by IA "Bi-Port" with reference to the regional Ministry of Health.

"The appearance of magnetic resonance tomograph in the institution will allow patients to conduct timely diagnosis of diseases, including in the early stages. Earlier patients had to travel to Murmansk to undergo such examinations," the Ministry of Health said.

The cost of the equipment amounted to 132.4 million rubles. The funds were allocated from the regional and federal budgets.

The news agency specifies that the MRI machine is located in a modular building of the hospital city in Kirovsk.
