In the Belgorod region, a mother and child were injured in a drone attack

An eight-year-old child and his mother were injured as a result of a drone attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on a townhouse in the village of Razumnoye in Belgorod Region. This was reported by the Governor of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov on December 26.

"The boy with bruises and abrasions the ambulance crew takes to the children's regional clinical hospital, the woman with shrapnel wounds to the leg and back - in the city hospital number 2 of Belgorod. Belgorod," Gladkov noted in his Telegram channel.

According to Gladkov, as a result of the impact on the house, the roof caught fire. Emergencies Ministry employees liquidated the fire.

On the same day, a drone attack in the Belgorod region wounded a self-defense fighter and damaged two cars. The second attack occurred in the village of Murom in the Shebekinsky district. As a result of the drone strike, the car was completely destroyed, the driver was not injured.

Ukrainian militants are trying to strike Russian territories against the background of the special operation in Donbass, the beginning of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
