One of the main rules for purchasing alcoholic beverages before the New Year is to buy them only in official stores or specialized boutiques that have a license. This was told in the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Moscow region on Thursday, December 26.

"In order not to run into a fake, it is necessary to make sure that the license for the familiarization of consumers is placed in an accessible place. Pay for alcoholic beverages in the retail network should only through the cash register," - said in the department in conversation with "Radio 1".

Such products must be registered in the Unified State Automated Information System with the use of cash register (EGAIS). At the same time, the packaging must bear a federal stamp for domestic alcohol or an excise stamp for imported alcohol. These stamps contain a barcode with the information.

"The product name and volume on the stamp should match the name on the label. It is also worth checking the integrity of the container," emphasized the Ministry of Agriculture and Food.

The cap should fit tightly to the glass, and the contents should not leak when turned over. The label should be even and tightly adhere to the package.

The ministry reminded that it is possible to check the legality of products by means of the mobile application "Anti-Counterfeit Alko", having scanned the barcode on the brand or QR-code on the receipt after the purchase.
