A self-defense fighter was wounded by an AFU drone attack in Belgorod region


A self-defense fighter was injured and two cars were damaged as a result of a drone attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in Belgorod Region. This was reported by the governor of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov on December 26.
"A self-defense fighter with an open leg wound is being taken by an ambulance brigade to Belgorod City Hospital No. 2," the governor noted in his Telegram channel.
According to him, the car, which was moving near the village of Cheremoshnoye, has a damaged body, glazing, cabin and roof.
The second attack occurred in the village of Murom in the Shebekinsky district. As a result of the drone strike, the car was completely destroyed, the driver was not injured.
On the same day it became known that the AFU with the help of drones again attacked Graivoron district of Belgorod region. In the town of Graivoron 15 cars were damaged, windows were broken out in eight apartments of residential buildings and in one private house. The facade and glazing of one commercial building was also slashed and damaged.
Ukrainian militants are trying to strike Russian territories against the backdrop of the special operation in Donbass, the start of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
