The doctor told about the right New Year's diet for children

A child can start eating olivier and other multi-component dishes of the New Year's table from the age of 10. This was told on December 26 by pediatrician, gastroenterologist of the children's clinic "Bud Zdorov" on Suschevsky Valu Lyubov Andryan.
"These are very difficult products for the digestive system. Only a perfectly healthy, adult person can cope with them. A healthy child can try olivier salad if desired from the age of 10 or 12. At this age, the digestive system will already be able to cope with such products," - quotes her words "Gazeta.Ru".
The doctor noted that before this age it is not worth giving children multi-component dishes, because adding them to the diet can lead to problems with the GI tract. On the New Year's table to the younger members of the family it is better to serve familiar food: baked meat or fish, vegetables, mashed potatoes and rice.
Earlier, on November 12, doctor-endocrinologist, nutritionist "SM-Clinica", Candidate of Medical Sciences Oksana Mikhaleva said that the diet, especially when it comes to the growing body, should be balanced and varied. She noted that children should not be given sweet dairy products, fruit juices and ready-made breakfasts.
