VTB talks about support for schoolchildren in the Kursk Region's border areas

VTB Bank handed over gifts to the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kursk Region for schoolchildren in the border areas who are in distance learning.
According to the Bank's press service, 2,600 tablets for distance learning were purchased and sent to Kursk in October. For the New Year, gifts with keyboards for tablets, stationery, toys and stickers were collected for children. The gifts are packed in boxes with the inscription: "Everything will work out for 5+".
Kits for first-graders in nine districts located in the border areas were handed over by heads of education departments of Kursk region. Also gifts were handed over to schoolchildren in 10 temporary accommodation centers.
"This year we decided to help schoolchildren in border areas by making the process of distance education more convenient. I hope that the gifts from the bank will not only help the children to study successfully, but also give them a sense of festivity and New Year mood," said Roman Mazurov, VTB's manager in the Kursk region.
Vitaly Ryazantsev, Vice Minister of Education and Science of the Kursk Region, expressed his gratitude for the attention to children. "On the eve of the holiday it is very important to please the children. I am sure that the gifts will be useful for everyone. Despite the fact that children are on distance learning, stationery will always come in handy at lessons, and keyboards for tablets will make the use of technical means of education even more comfortable," Ryazantsev emphasized.
