The Victory Museum has prepared bright projects for the New Year vacations. This was told by the General Director of the Victory Museum, Deputy Secretary of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation Alexander Yakovlevich Shkolnik.

"Our visitors are waiting for a wonderful New Year's exhibition "History in miniature - a look through the ages", which tells not only about the traditions of celebrating the New Year, about gifts and Christmas tree toys, but also about the military history of our country. Guests will be able to watch New Year movies for the whole family at the Poklonka Cinema, as well as send a letter to Santa Claus. And of course, we traditionally hold our wonderful New Year's historical quest "Victory Tree", which will be held at the museum until January 12. For many years this interactive program for children from 6 to 13 years old has been rightfully recognized as the best New Year's performance in Moscow. "Victory Tree" is an adventure in historical scenery, costumed characters, exciting laser tag, secret ciphers and puzzles, a battle with an insidious computer virus, and at the end - a meeting with Santa Claus at the Victory Tree and a wonderful New Year's gift", - emphasizes Alexander Shkolnik.

During the New Year vacations the visitors of the museum on Poklonnaya Gora will also be able to get acquainted with the Hall of Historical Truth, multimedia hall "Faces of Victory", exhibitions "Road of Life on Canvas", "Northern Fortress", "Legends of Military Intelligence", "Family Relics" and others. In addition, as part of immersive tours throughout the day you can visit the exposition "Battle for Moscow. The First Victory!". The museum will also play the compositions of the project "Main Children's Songs", which is realized with the support of the Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives. Thanks to it, 12 new songs for children appeared only in 2024, and animated video clips were made for 10 of them. Alexander Shkolnik notes that "the project is aimed at creating new musical and animated children's content based on moral and patriotic values. We wanted new children's songs about the most important things, songs that educate, help a child to learn about friendship, loyalty, honor, love for loved ones, for the native country".

As the author and general producer of "Main Children's Songs", Alexander Shkolnik emphasizes that the implementation of the project would be impossible without the help and active participation of one of the most popular children's composers, Honored Worker of Culture of Russia Vitaly Ososhnik. The compositions created by him - "Victory Cranes", "Names", "Little Soldier", "New Year" and many others have entered the golden fund of the project. These songs, imbued with sincerity and kindness, sound every day in the museum on Poklonnaya Hill. You can also listen to them or download them on the website of the Main Children's Songs project.
