Temporary restrictions on the operation of Moscow airports lifted


Temporary restrictions on the work of the capital's airports Sheremetyevo, Domodedovo, Vnukovo and Zhukovsky have been lifted. This was announced on Thursday, December 26, by Rosaviatsia spokesman Artem Korenyako.
"At the airports of Sheremetyevo, Domodedovo, Vnukovo and Zhukovsky from 16:39 Moscow time, restrictions on the reception and release of aircraft have been lifted," he wrote in his Telegram channel.
Aircraft crews, air traffic controllers and airport services have taken all necessary measures for flight safety, the spokesman said.
The restrictions were introduced earlier in the day. They also affected the airport of Kaluga.
Earlier, on December 25, temporary flight restrictions were introduced at Kazan airport. Later these measures were canceled.
