A man injured in a fire in a five-storey building in Lipetsk died in hospital

In Lipetsk city hospital No. 3 "Svobodny Sokol" died a man who was injured in a fire in a five-story house on Shkatova Street. About it on Thursday, December 26, reports GOROD48.

The fire occurred the previous afternoon, December 25, in an apartment on the fifth floor of the house No. 1 on Shkatova Street. Severe injuries were received by the 56-year-old owner of the property, in serious condition he was taken to the burn unit of the hospital.

The man died from injuries incompatible with life, writes the local edition. Medics diagnosed him with burns of 70% of the body. According to the sister of the deceased, the man abused alcohol.

According to the regional Ministry of Emergency Situations, the area of the fire amounted to 25 square meters. m. 24 people from several fire brigades were involved in extinguishing the fire.

The night before, a fire occurred in a one-story residential building for two apartments in Transbaikalia. Two adults and two little girls aged three and one and a half died.
