In Karaganda region in Kazakhstan, 47 horses fell through the ice of a steppe lake and died. This was reported by the country's Interior Ministry on December 26.
"Horses missing in the Karaganda region, found under the icy water," - stated in the Telegram-channel of the Department.
According to the agency KazTAG, the herd of horses went to the frozen lake at night.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan reminded the owners of farm animals about the need to control grazing. According to them, self-passage of livestock can lead to tragic consequences.
